Ever wondered what music the people who post on the DiS boards are into? Us too. We've always thought about doing some sort of poll-of-polls, and then - as is often the way with DiS - a member of the community took it upon themselves to start one. The results of which were revealed on the boards too but right here, right now, we can reveal far more than the top 20.

Incredible to think that Paul's Boutique is many people's preferred album to The Bends. An album, which, to my mind, is near flawless.
I "own" 64 of these, of which I'd say around 20 would make my top 100.

Can't believe so many of my favourites are in there. Very pleasantly surprised to see Adebisi Shank on there too (although its not even their best album in my opinion) It would really have made my day to see ...And So I Watch You From Afar on too

We kinda didn't push it too hard, to ensure there weren't too many bands encouraging people to vote and whatnot.
Bowie has 10 better albums
than ITAOTS--by some stretch. And methinks w/out my Porcupine vote, it'd have been left off the list.
On the whole, though...ah, yeah, this is the music we listen to. :)

As good as it is to see it there, that Adebisi Shank album only received a solitary vote
I voted “This the album of a band called Adebisi Shank” (2008) as my 3rd favourite, and still_here voted “This the second album of a band called Adebisi Shank” (2010) as his 4th favourite. I can't for the life of me figure out how you got the two of them mixed up ;)

I don't believe this came from a representative sample of the DiS community. As someone else said, where is Psychocandy? No Fall albums? Also for me there would be Bark Psychosis (Hex). Oh, and where is Daydream Nation? Perhaps I'm too old :)
