They were amazing
at Queens Hall on Saturday night
that they were
one of the best *performances* I've ever seen, Neil's voice was better than ever and he appears to have discovered his inner guitar-hero somehow.
However, didn't you think the new material was a bit ... lacking? It really did feel like the new direction has dulled them somewhat, they sound like so many other bands now. Granted, they're still much better than them but they're definitely less unique now, which was part of their charm
