Can - Tago Mago 40th Anniversary Edition
Can, and Tago Mago’s groundbreaking work has never been so wonderfully presented, and this reissue is a neatly packaged reminder of its stunning timelessness.

Does the reissue come out on vinyl too?
It's a shame that it comes with the ugly English artwork though. That alternative cover is one of the finest since Dave Brubeck's Time Out.
Thanks for reminding me
what a pillock Bill Hicks could be.
Great album anyway, though I prefer Ege Bamyasi
Why do 10/10 reviews of this nearly fantastic album fail to mention that
Peking O and Aumgn are complete shit. They really are. Take them out of it and the album really is a 10/10.
Same goes for Soup on Ege Bam Yasi. Starts off a great song then turns into complete shit halfway through.
When experimental = unlistenable.
Does anyone like those songs?
I'd give give Tago Mago 9/10 if it only contained Halleluhwah.
....however it's spelt.
Greatest rhythm track.......ever.
I like Peking O and Aumgn [didn`t use to so much]they add to the diversity of the album, and I reckon this is their best album in that it shows you what they`re all about and it`s longer than their other classic albums [they`re too short]. Definately a 10/10. Anyhow wasn`t this remastered [along with some others]a few years back.
^^ very true ^^
Those 2 tracks don't ruin the album at all for me as the music around them is truly amazing. I just skip them on cd and delete from itunes. Maybe one day they'll click, but I doubt it.
Mute re-issued loads of their albums a few years back, you're right. In fine style too. Much better sound than the previous cd editions. I updated all mine at that point so can't see me buying this reissue just for the live disc.
