Surely the question should be "Why haven't Pavement yet released a Best Of compilation?" ;-)
I reckon it's a good idea, yeah I'd buy it. Would be interested to see what the track listing is though.

if it had tracks i hadnt heard before, and cool booklet dealios like they have in the reissues which are quite interesting. if it was just the hits then thered really be no point. crooked rains the best anyway....
I really don't like the sound of this. Am anticipating another painful Pixies-scenario whereby 3 slightly obvious songs are cherrypicked from their oeuvre & slowly kicked to death by lazy media overexposure (for "Where Is My Mind?", "Gigantic" & "Debaser" substitute "Cut Your Hair", "Stereo" & "Range Life"?). Never took Pavement for nostalgic "Let's get the band back together"-types & am very disappointed by this reformation nonsense, particularly as some of Malkmus's solo stuff has been so good...
