Spacemen 3 - The Perfect Prescription (reissue)
Surprisingly, despite the internal wrangles and dependency issues that later swallowed them whole, the Spacemen 3 delivered a well balanced album that really has managed to endure the test of time.

Great record
Legendary band.
Still haven't got this album
Shameful really, but now might be the time to make amends and get this version.
Its a must own record
along with 'Sound Of Confusion' that wipes the floor with pretty much anything messrs Pierce and Kember have been involved with since, Spiritualized included.
high praise indeed!
Spiritualzed have been one of my favourite bands ever, so it sound like I need to get the Perfect Prescription and Sound of Confusion too. The only Spacemen 3 album I have is Recurring.
Rugbys finest
played in a band with Rosco years ago and Pete still runs the YP studios in rugby after all these years....
Recently helped to install Pete's bathroom too :-)
making parallels
or just putting Spacemen 3 and Spiritualized in the same sentence is pure heresy. The first is a mind melting sound creature, the latter (except the first album) a balls-melting ego playground for Pierce's dreams of grandeur. Much better Boom and his Spectrum, even if too much Spacemen-like.
