AFI - Crash Love
Crash Love is a collection of sounds that falls somewhere between P.O.D. and a fart that's been trapped in a turbo-fx pedal for ten years.

You have broken the simile
amazing
review
I like how this started off as a Pitchfork-aping wordathon, then the writer realised he couldn't keep it up and ended up using toilet humour instead. Sounds a bit like this album really, starts off trying to be epic then by the end it's shit.
I clicked on this review hoping it would be hilarious
and it was. Who actually listens to this band? I was too old for them when I was twelve.
AFI
funny, I hoped they get 0/1O because 3 is too much for AFI, but OK, I'm satisfied
Oh AFI, what happened?
Remember when they used to be a punk rock band? :(
WANNA BE A HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL HERO
Yeah, the PR company paid me
per unflattering simile
yes
and how I loved them
I like how GoogleAds produces adverts for this album
with this (excellent) review. Heh. Hope DiS ain't getting paid on the click-throughs here.
rollingstone just gave this
8/10
a very entertaining read
I've always hated AFI, even when they were a bit harder edged there was always much better of the same ilk out there. I was giggling quite loudly by the last paragraph and now my boss is having a read, arf.
I still like AFI
didn't think much of the last album though. Hmm
I'm obviously in the minority here but I like this
it's fun and poppy. Not as good as anything from Shut your mouth - Sing the Sorrow but better than the first 2.
!
Daniel Yates is a total douchebag. Thinks he's so funny, but he doesn't even take the time to criticize the album properly. All he wants is attention with his little smart-ass comments and thinks he's the shit. Well guess what, you're not.
Nice review, dogshit album
One of the songs reminds me of Roxette. Proper crap album. Some Fall out Boy influences in there as well.
Not bad at all
Its definitely not a 3/10 album, its a very different style to their previous work but it is very much evolved from December Underground (which really didn't work). I think its a very good step from Sing the Sorrow without being a simple sequel-like album. End Transmission and Beautiful Thieves are amazing songs, check them out.
The Art of Drowning was their first and last decent album.
.
Wow, most of the people here are stuck-up morons. Especially Daniel Yates. Ass of the year nominee along with Kanye West.
No love for Crash Love?
This is a well-written criticism of the album, but nothing more. I'd like to think that reviews should at least make a stab at objectivity and D. Yates instead whined out about 10 paragraphs-worth of pretentious babble with even less substance than what he claims the band has. Yeah, the 'review' is witty at times, displaying his impressive knowledege of pop-rock artists and other names that I have no desire to research. While it's a decent blog about a band the writer obviously does not care, it's definitely not a review to be taken seriously.
if it were possible to be made more dumb by an album review, i think this one would accomplish such a task with flying colors.
amazing
great review, irked the afi fans who still try to convince themselves that afi are anything other than shite
!
Lol. Daniel Yates is a sack of shit. You're NOT funny Yates.
