Usurped by expectation, Johnny Boy could never have delivered an album as consistently brilliant as their ‘You Are The Generation…’ single. That they’ve even come close is cause enough for celebration...

Haven't heard the album but wouldn't want to after last night - sounded like they had 2 half decent songs and a load of rubbish ones, including a lame version of Sheena is a Punk Rocker

Yep. Deserves lots of praise, especially, as Steroid notes, "You Are The Generation..."
'Generation' is the best record I've heard in about five years. Bradfield is promising as a producer too- his Motown obsession was put to excellent use here at any rate.
