Former Longpig Richard Hawley will play 15 dates in September, in support of his forthcoming Lady's Bridge LP...
hopefully the new album will be good.
by the size of the venues to be honest, not to bemoan an obviously talented hawley.
all that mercury talk i'm sure helped him, my mum'll be pleased and go along i'm sure.
It's not like he hasn' acheived as much as the other people who play these sort of venues.
Welcome to Bradford, Mr Hawley!
...are there really enough people with taste in my home town of Southampton for old Richard to fill the Guildhall?
I would suggest not.
playing bradford and manchester when i'm in london, and playing london when, you guessed it, i'd be in a perfect place to see bradford or manchester gigs. oh why do you toy with me, gig gods?
Pfft, shall have to go to Southampton instead. Even though the Guildhall is a dreadful venue.
but it almost never is.
You're not wrong about the Guildhall being dreadful- the sound is awful unless you stand directly in front of the mixing desk.
