Teenage Jesus and the Jerks

Teenage Jesus and the Jerks

An incredibly influential, noisy no-wave band, Teenage Jesus and the Jerks were formed in late-70s New York by no-wave and punk pioneers Lydia Lunch and James Chance. They were discordant, confrontational and very inaccessible; their songs often no longer than thirty seconds long, they never released a full length album and disbanded after an extremely short existence.
