Jana Hunter

A voice of sombre delicacy and a raw, earthy lyricism, Jana Hunter is the first to release a record on Devendra Banhart's new label Gnomonsong. A former member of Matty & Mossy, she has collaborated with Coco Rosie and released a split 12" with the aforementioned label owner, who also featured her on his Golden Apples Of The Sun compilation, alongside Joanna Newsom, Six Organs of Admittance, Iron and Wine and Vashti Bunyan.

Her new album There's No Home is released April 2007 by Gnomonsong.
