Sepultura

A thrash-metal outfit hailing from Brazil, Sepultura were formed in 1983 by icon Max Cavalera and younger brother Igor Cavalera. They released six albums in the ten years spanning 1986 - 1996, before the band took a collective decision to fire their manager Gloria, who just so happened to be Max's wife. He threw a bit of a strop and left to form Soulfly, and was replaced by Derrick Green. They released four further albums, and are still going today.
