Nuh. You misunderstand me. By all means, go to this wonderful charity event, just don't ever think of studying at the aforementioned university.

My mum died of Alzheimer's last year. It's a horrible disease where the sufferer slowly loses all of their brain functions - being fully aware that they are losing their ability to do simple tasks that everyone else takes for granted - such as recognising their closest family. It is a slow and painful death that people know little about, and there are few resources for families to cope with it. There is no cure. It is heartbreaking for sufferers and everyone they know.
If you don't want to go to the event that is your choice. No one is forcing you. Please think before you shoot your mouth off with your ill-informed opinions.
Well done to all the people involved in the event who are trying to do something about it. -

I'm with Emma - it's good that somebody is making an effort.
1 in 4 people over the age of 75 suffer from it, and it has a dominant inheritance pattern through families, so taking the piss is futile.
But LMAO at Funkology - those guys have enough arrogance to put most rock stars in their place.
