Bad midweeks: but at least 'Gay Bar' is higher than One True Voice. Ha ha

Boo! In the latest midweek singles chart DiS has to hand, Evanescence are holding the number 1 slot with their slice of corporate rock, 'Bring Me To Life'.

Next highest new entry is Electric Six, whose mighty 'Gay Bar' (GAY BARRR GAY BARRRRRRR) holds out at #5, beating Shania Twain at #6 and.... barf.... 'male vocal harmony group' muppets One True Voice with their Rick Astley-penned single at #8. Rock god Mr M.Manson pops up at #10, and the top 20 sees in the likes of Melanie C, Grandaddy, and Kings Of Leon (two of whom are very pretty).

Unsurprisingly, Stereophonics look set to have the No. 1 album on Sunday.

        It's only the midweeks - OTV will rise, E6 will fall, MM won't make the 10.
