90 Day Men ain't 90 Day Men no more
Posted: 24 Feb '06, 15:39
You'll have to forgive the vagueness of this post - the information comes almost exclusively from the boards of Southern Records - but the fact of the matter is a simple one: 90 Day Men have broken up.
When? We're not sure - if anyone knows the specifics, please do post below. The Chicago-based four-piece's last album, 2004's Panda Park (pictured), was a wonderfully indulgent piece of prog-indie brilliance. Suffice to say it's well worth a purchase.
Currently, former member Rob Lowe has released a solo record of drifting ambience through Kranky under the moniker Lichens (we've got it, it's good, click here for information) - he's also in TV On The Radio - and Brian Case is playing guitar with In The Red rockers The Ponys.
Over, and out.

That's weird
I'm actually listening to 90 day men right now and i just read this news, that's awful. I prefer their early stuff but would still loved to have seen them live. Another great band bites the dust.
