busted if u dont like them then fuck off!

let me get one thing strait busted write their own songs and if you dont believe me look on any of their single/album covers and it will tell you that either 'bourne' 'jay' 'simpson' or all three wrote the songs . and they all play their instruments matt plays bass and he can play drums charlie plays guitar,bass, piano and he is an extreamly good drummer and james plays guitar and piano so! before you start telling people that they are crap and lie about stuff and they dont even play or write their own songs then think!
o and oif course in the videos they dont play they are doing loads of jumping around and they are moving around aswell have you tried playing whilest doing that?!
and also how many bands do you no of that perform completely live for their videos ? so stop dissing them for not doing!!!

    I wasn't aware that they did perfrom live in their videos...that would be difficult. Lots of bands perform live all the time whilst jumping around so that hardly makes Busted special. However, Busted are alright, I don't have a problem with them. There is a place for everything, as I have come to learn. I imagine I would have liked them if they came out 4 years ago.

      Well yes, but obviously they still appeal to a huge market. You can't really expect young girls to like anything much deeper than Busted.

    Busted are a perfect example of record industry marketing.
    They have targeted the teenage girl market and done it very well. Fair play to them.
    They identified a gap in the market and exploited it.
    Shame their songs all sound the same though.

      Everyone's playing to some sort of market, because, gasp, there's something for everyone. Even a band like Miss Black America (whoa), are playing to the market of post-richey 15 year old girls. Not really all that different.
      And busted are much less annoying than MBA.

      gary barlow wrote his own songs. the fucking spice girls "wrote" their own songs (cleverly getting themselves on all the songwriting credits there, thats how they all got so rich). so what if busted write their own songs? what do they want? a round of applause? busted are still total music industry whores.

        haha dan...i hope your talking about hearing them live on telly....and not... proper live. my friend wanted to see them when they first came out so i got a ticket (hadnt heard them yet).then i heard them *swiftly sells ticket* that was my busted experience.though i gotta say that crashed the wedding song is some catchy stuff:)

              1st of all busted do have a drummer in fact they have Gareth who is their tour drummer and charlie plays the drums - or havent you learnt to read yet? and 2nd of all busted have never ever sedthat they are punk or rock so get your facts right!

                  Okay. Just because they write / sing / play their own songs DOES NOT MAKE THEM BETTER. It is not an excuse. In fact it's worse: they're pretending that they're "punk" or whatever when actually they're just a jumped-up crappy boy band. I mean, come on. I refuse to kiss someone's arse just because they don't play along to a backing track.

                  I'm guessing you're just taking the piss, what with the spelling and all, but I feel it needs saying...

                            Look, face it Mercy I'd rather be skint in my shitty job, getting absolutely no-where in life, putting up my stand for un-pop music than to sell my soul to the devil that is pop-shite...

                            When are people like you gonna understand that people like me don't want their life! Simple. Ok, we're all human and the money would be a bonus but considering the shelf life as a pop star is pretty short, the money wouldn't last forever and anyway money doesn't sooth the soul does it? Real music does.

                            The type of music that i'm apparently 'jealous' of is everything I try to work AGAINST becoming what people class as 'music'... please don't insult my beliefs and intelligence by saying i'm jealous.

                            Busted are NEVER EVER EVER gonna be properly accepted into the real music arena. Thank fuck for that.

      mercy why would i be jealous of Charlie and the other two? Charlie has bad eyebrows. Funny how though a indie band though are the biggest selling, which shows how people are looking at and buying good music.

      And the future's bright, theres a real rock music underground at our school, and it seems loads of people have guitars and are forming bands and the like. This seems to be happening all over the place.

    look busted are pop no ones saying their punk or anything but dont u think its better for all the little children to listen to a band that at least plays guitars and writes their own songs rather than those dancing ninnies like backstreet boys etc, at least busted are getting them on the right track and they might eventually find the decent bands who are far superior to busted. and to the person saying that busted arent being accepted by proper music have u not read the NME reviews blah blah blah

    Also for the people slagging off pop, all ur precious indie bands etc draw major influences from a pop band and the biggest band of them all....the beatles!

            The problem with people who constantly slag of pop music is they end up sounding like snobs and I end up siding with the people who have piss poor taste in music.

            Anyway saying all pop is shot is just silly. There are a load of really talented people making pop music. Most indie bands right pop songs verse chorus verse chorus and about 3 minutes long, exactly what a pop song is.

            Let Busted get on with whatever they are doing, wont stop anybody making decent, meaningful music and you never know, they might come up with a decent tune one day.
