I think it was the 1st night of their tour in Birmingham. Any good? I am going to Bristol on Wednesday. Last time I saw them I was very drunk and myself and the then girlfriend shouted down the mic when Stuart offered it towards us.

the tour
started nearly 2 weeks ago
going to Liverpool tonight...
Birmingham
was good. They played a decent mix of stuff (incl. Your Covers Blown). Brakes were OK but didn't really have the quality of material of B+S.
The crowd was much less fey than I'd expected - I guess the Trevor Horn approach must have won them a new sort of fan.
seeing them in toronto
going to see them on the 25 of february in toronto canada, and im very geared. they should be very settled into the tour by then. and i find that when a band visits from over seas they must give it something extra. with thevery big exception of oasis. they wouldnt piss on toronto if it had caught fire. but its not toronto its them.

im not a numpty either ! i dont fall for the crap that every band does when they tour . you know the bit where they say that "your city is the best or their favorite to visit and you are the best crowd to play to every time" just find that bands spank it out in toronto.
