no idea

on a side note

OMG The Dark Knight was intense!

yes!

is it out now then? i have to see it. it looks sick. please spoil it for me and tell me everything that happens.

i cannot wait.

It's beyond amazing

I was so sure I would be disappointed as I was far too excited for it.

But WOW. Heath Ledger was every bit as great as everyone says.

I believe it is out on the 24th but here in belgium it came out on the 23rd.

everyone should stop bitching about wrightylew and go see it.

I'm not having a Belgian tell me what to do.

however I am going to see Dark Knight and I do find complaining about Wrightylew a bit pointless, it's like arguing with a drunk.

smeg off

Belgium is nice

and I suppose where you live is far better?

Wrightylew really isn't the prick after all.

**SPOILER ALERT**

heath ledger dies at the end.

Mr. Crustacean says

this isn't a complement.

i'm really curious to know how liking a kate nash song

could make one a luddite though. is she particularly opposed to technological advancement?

She is made of bricks

hardly stone-age is it?

Has anyone seen my coat

I really should be moving on......

Much obliged

it will keep me warm on the walk from monitor to bed. All two feet.

Ta muchly

I'd never call you a luddite grimey, you let me pun away without calling me on it AND fetch coats.
<3

it's my pleasure, soo

i'm a gracious host

<3

it's beause he said

rap hadn't change since it began

nope

It's the whole thinking Liam is better than Damon.

Apparently, the Gorillaz project and his opera are rubbish. Liam's much better, cos, erm, he shakes a tambourine better or something.

That and the whole Beatles thing LW.

this thread does not refer to the Kate Nash comment

Just a general observation of his 'tastes' and generally non progressive attitude.

still not being a luddite, though

as cowcow pointed out

I have a soft spot for

luddites

He clearly has reservations about artistic advances

if he's claiming Liam is a better musician than Damon Albarn.

Luddite also refers to people opposed to change or radicalisation.

this is why the newbies on here

should stop being so cocky.
they just misjudge the character of established members and cause trouble for us all.
what happened to the days when new posters kept their heads down till reaching that magic 1000 post mark before being accepted into DiSociety?
bah!

Luddite ^^^

...

He hasn't really misjudged him though

If anything, newer members offer a more objective view.

i dunno.

i like the chap, but he has some silly views on music.

thank you

.

^this

poor Wrightylew, this is the second nasty thread in as many days i've seen about him. I think he is intelligent and pretty funny as well. Those one liners he posts which get so many people's backs up. Brilliant.

saying this i've only got about 500 posts. Whadooiknow eh?

yeh that whole rant about posts

was a bit of a joke, obviously.
people just don't realise that he says things to wind people up.i think it's great.

haha!

thats what i'm doing!

not too long now before I can be a dick :)

and to think I respected you

only to find out what a luddite you are

what the fuck are you talking about ?

neecho? get a life.

let me again emphasise the tongue in cheek nature

of what i said.
but the point still remains. i don't remember new people being so vocal!

we need characters like this

they keep the mind limber.

why have most people

on here got no sense of humour?

Radiohead

^bingo.

I'm not really sure I understand

You ask a question and before an answer is offered, exclaim "[sic] nuff said]".

^

and they hate you, and they hate you.

he's alright

he just has mostly bad taste in music, is a bit of an old man and is a bit of an attention seeker.

Who isn't opinionated on this site?

At the end of the day, if you don't agree with someone's opinion, then either state why you don't, or move on to another thread.

There is no point in posting threads like this. No point at all.

but you still

post on them eh?

Schtick in the Ludd?

(see it rhymes with 'stick in the mud'. It doesn't really make sense but i thought I'd chuck it out there)

Best play on words on here on here in forever

you dint need to spain it tho

*splain

a typo in a typo- a new low

The reign of *splain fell mainly giving pain?

i'm on form today.

By jove I think she's bought it!

I on the other hand; am not.

He's just the king of the wind-up merchants

and I'm gradually learning not to rise to the bait.

"wind-merchants"?

I think the "I laughed when John Lennon died" guy gets that crown.

yeah ol' marty

The "heart o shit". Wrighty held fast though didn't he. I one the other hand fell for it hook, line and sinker.

haha

I always have my finger on the trigger.

Wasn't that quoting the Manics

who for all I know could have been quoting someone else?

^This.

It was a quote from the song "Motown Junk". It was in a thread mocking a similar one regarding John Lydon - ironically started by wrightylew.

Why are you such a poopy-pance?

Hmmm?
Enough said.

I'm afraid it's no longer confined to the sense of humour

we think it may have spread to the vocabulary.

don't blame us fresh faced younglings!

i didn't make this silly thread! and it's no worse than what old man anschul comes up with

Ugh

Why do you feel the need to play to the gallery and assemble a mob to validate your opinions?

If you have a problem with the boy then talk to him about it...but that might mean you have to clumsily expand upon the 'Nuff said' argument, or risk him making you look silly.

interesting.

but this isn't real is it? it's the internet. unless the internet now has a 'relations' dept. is that you? maybe you could do an intervention? or some counselling?

maybe i was bored and he annoyed me. if i wanted attention i'd just say i liked Bis or something.

I don't know; ask him

I'm really surprised he hasn't risen to the bait. He normally has plenty to say about ANYTHING!

ummm

wrong board, i think you'll find.
