I'm deciding which 2009 festival to go to (it's the summer holidays and I'm bored.)
Which do you reckon?
Go to latitude, where lots of my favourite bands will probably be playing, but go alone?
OR
Go to download, where the music is pretty good but not half as good as it is at latitude, but go with all my friends?

is the music festival where ive had the best fun. i went the good year though...with metallica, tool, deftones, soulfly, hatebreed.... not this years bullshit lineup!

People like that don't exist here unfortunately. One other one did, but he started smoking and became shit. At T in the Park he literally claimed "I'm too cool to see bands."

That sounds like a pretty good plan.
I'll say I'm going to Download, wait until the line-up is announced, then (providing Regina Spektor is playing, which she probably will be right?) say "oh, I would love to go to Download, but I can't afford to miss the opportunity to see my favourite singer ever (also true) live." and go to latitude and hang out with cool DiSsers.
