i've had an urge to do this today, but i'd get stabbed. I've probably just answered my own question there, but if i lived in Camden or somewhere where the average age of fatherhood was more than fifteen and most people are massive try-hard muppets then i'd paint my nails and probably wear eyeliner, definitely bust a pink shirt every now and again, maybe get one of them crazy indie haircuts, and all that.

To be honest
painting your nails is a pain and time consuming and really pointless.
Eyeliner is great though - I know people who've managed to do it in quite a 'manly' way.

It was very nice, probably the most elite part of Manchester until the early 80s, by which time Morrissey no longer lived there. There's manning the fuck up and then just being sensible. I'm not giving it the 'I've lived in dead 'ard places wuts worse than Beirut' but you're risking a stabbing at best by bringing extra attention onto yourself.
