I'm working through the hard rock/metal section

from prices low to high. :D

Seriously though, the Corrosion album is worth getting, nu metal classics from the old days, and some good punk tunes as well.

you seen the uber play.com sale?

cd's starting at £1.99, some good stuff on it..

BAM!

I did it all for the Nookie....and 1p!

Apex Theory - Topsy Turvy. Bit like System, metal, riffs, other gubbins. Only 8p!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Topsy-Turvy-Apex-Theory/dp/B000063V8X/ref=sr_1_323?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1216652880&sr=1-323

A - Hifi Serious. If you don't buy this you're NUFFIN'! NUFFIN'!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hi-Fi-Serious/dp/B00006349V/ref=sr_1_356?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1216652972&sr=1-356

The Step Kings - Let's Get It On. No, me neither but it's contemporary heavy metal apparently. Nice. 1p

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Step-Kings/dp/B00004R7UU/ref=sr_1_363?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1216653033&sr=1-363

I loved the Step Kings for about a day

They had a song called 'Right Is Wrong' that made my nu-metal heart swell up.

what are you DOING TO ME?!??!

I have a list the length of my arm of CDs i want to get and promised i wouldn't deviate from it.

*scuttles off to find a bargain*

Protest The Hero - Fortress (2 bucks in Virgin/Zavvi)

it's quite proggy, heavy rock. Not listened to it enough yet, but if you have a local shop, go buy!

Men, Women & Children - S/T (98p)

Glassjaw members do a Head Automatica-esque turnaround and create a pop album. It's really great fun, definitely worth a purchase

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000006045/ref=sr_1_olp_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1216722477&sr=1-1

This is as close to 10/10 i'd award an album (Deloused... excluded). Really dark, unnerving beats, so atmospheric. Total masterpiece. Whilst 'Teardrop' is an amazing song, it's so light-hearted comparatively to the rest of the record

Taproot - Gift (79p)

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00004TTGI/ref=sr_1_olp_1?ie=UTF8&s=gateway&qid=1216722915&sr=8-1

Strapping Young Lad - SYL (1.42)

So fast and heavy it'll tear you a new arsehole. It's not vocally BRUTAL either, so it's far easier on the ears. Tremendous album, Devin Townsend is a genius
