FUCKING YES!!! Never mind the My Bloody Valentine gigs - this is equal if not better! They were wonderful! The lead singer (Gibby Haines?) was so laid back - he completely owned the stage.

And where do I start after Locust Abortion Technician?

annoyed that i missed this

but it was down to finances.

how were desalvo?

Didn't make it to see desalvo...

..as was meeting mate from Edinburgh in pub.

But I did hear desalvo were awesome.

Independent Worm Saloon next

Great little record.

Hairway to Steven

then;
Rembrandt Pussyhorse
Independent Worm Saloon

IMO

This sounds promising

I'be been having major reservations about going this coming Saturday in London. So what did they play? Actually scrub that if you only have 'Locust' I guess you're not sure?!

Dont't get Inpedendant Worm Saloon till later

other 2 are solid
and get
Psychic... Powerless... Another Man's Sac

thats all you need.

good gig

Buttholes played a good spread from the albums and including stuff which was never released on any of the albums, only on bootlegs. De Salvo were fun, the teeny cover versions rawk kids were pretty good. About to start work on my photos from the gig

Butthole Albums

Psychic...Powerless is the best followed by Rembrandt Pussy Horse and Hairway To Steven.

They were awesome in Glasgow. Highlights included Cherub, Moving To Florida, 22 Going On 23 and a completely deranged The Shah Sleeps In Lee Harvey's Grave.

Shah Sleeps

has to be one of the insanest greatest tracks ever. I'm seeing them in Dublin on Thursday night, well hyped about it.

So how did this gig actually go?

Gibby said he was "disappointed" it was being promoted as a Buttholes gig when it was really a School of Rock thing, and that they weren't going to be playing on all the songs.

So how much of a Buttholes gig was it in the end?

^ Can somebody from

Glasgow answer this please?!

it was blinding

It was absolutely a buttholes gig. i don't really want to spoil it for anyone who has yet to see them so all i will say is GO. if you like them you will hate yourself for missing it. i'm thinking of spending another £150 - £200 to see them in nottingham they were that good.

Going on saturday

Can't wait! I kind of spoiled it by looking at previous setlists, but still! Woo!

Nottingham Rock City on Wednesday

support from Lovvers

My ticket for London was

16.50. 30.00?!

really?

Re-evaluating.....

It's too much money :-(

Oh and Psychic and Powerless, another man's sac is the best album closely followed by Rembrandt Pussyhorse.
