Just a thought
what about rather than just pairing people up you could give everyone on the list 3 random names on the list. That way you could just burn your CD 3 times and send it to three adresses. I know it would be slightly more expensive but the upside would be you'd get three spanking new CDs in the post.

a - when you say tape, you mean cd? cos i would make endless amounts of tapes (not really endless, but a few/many), but my cd writer is ever so temperamental, so will probably not work.

on the 3 for 3 thing? I thought it was a novel spin. CDR's are almost a commodity now, shirley you can't be that cheap? I think my last one cost 30p and that was expensive for buying it as a single!

As I take it, that means you burn the same disc thrice and just post it out. I also don't know enough about anyone here to tailor a mix to them personally, I'm making a narcissistic tape about me for someone else!
