They appear ro be playing an obscure Pavement album track as backing music. I don't watch this program much, does this sort of thing happen a lot?

I'm often pleasantly surprised to hear patrs of my record collecton being used as backing music on programs but it's usually some documentary on BBC2 that nobody's watching. Top Gear and Pavement don't seem to be a likely match but it appears from other replies in this thread it's not as surprising as I first thought.


Mogwai and 65dos all the time

In fact, Auto Rock (by Mogwai)is used so much I think it was named specifically for use in TopGear..
