I know a few of you are in bands n'all, so what instruments do you play?

Personally, I stopped playing piano at grade four and i am very good at the bugle (grades do not exist for this instrument)

Not in a band..

I play Guitar and Ukulele, hobbies. I recently got a harmonica..thats nice and fun!

On a related not my local chirch somehow

found out i play the bugle and have asked me to play last post and revaille on rememberance this year.

I always used to wonder who was playing Last Post

during our church's Rememberance service (it was played in another room)

I say do it!

ive done it numerous times....

infront of about 2000 before...very scary!

Bass

I just play it so I don't have to put anytime into learning songs and still get an equal, if not slightly higher, share of the chicks that come from being in a band.

i play the violin

i stopped getting lessons about two years ago but still like playing it sometimes. i taught myself piano to grade 3. i really like bugles.

i have two....two very old ones, i'm going to clean them

up soon...with a bit of brasso....i had to hand my ceremonial one in when i left military school...she was a beauty. Made by boozey and hawkes.

Id love to be

able to play the Sitar. How much does a cheap (but still decent) one cost?

bodhran a lot when i was younger. i was alright at it too.

guitar quite well

bass below-average
and I know which notes are which on a piano.

I've been teaching myself bits of guitar

for the last few years. Just enough to write my own stuff and have a vague idea of how to put songs together.

I also played bass in a band for about 3-4 years, but haven't properly picked it up in a while.

and i do some drum and synth sequencing and put everything together on my computer, trying to learn how to produce decently along the way. http://www.myspace.com/thetoneofthenumber5

oh, and i have a theremin that i got for £50 off ebay. no idea how to play it but its great fun to do live :)

Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys and sing

I play piano

And I also play bass and guitar. I'm trying to learn violin but it's alot harder than I thought. Piano is my favourite instrument, but sadly I don't have one at home.

Guitar, badly

Uke, badly

Keyboard, badly

Frankly I'm very disappointed with myself.

guitar

kazoo
drum buttons on the organ
beer bottles
and cans
and hands
the stapler (using the spring as a string and a pen as a tuning slide guidematic)
a bit of drums
and i'm also cheif fore skin grinder in a band called 'who said girls were welcome?'

I play the guitar

acoustic - I play simple chord shapes and thump the strings with a bass pick making a kind of percussion noise.

electric - I lean against the amp and fuck about with feedback and pedals (only when I have the house to myself though)
