It works fine for me.

Give it a good old 'F5' and try again.

i think

there was some kind of server problem over the past few days. should be fine now.

what do people think to the site now that its got a nice new design?

http://www.theQuietus.com

I don't like it.

Far too text heavy, in my opinion.

nah

i like text.

i like it

a bit more diverse than dis and good articles. and a great layout. i think dis should follow suit on that front.

yeah

tom's gonna sort out the dis layout when he's made a site for thrash hits and the new lipster (which is going up any day now, taking quite a different direction, think you lot will hate it less)

ah cool, i look forward to it! (the new dis that is)

i think he should look at the Resident Advisor site too as that is the nices design of any music site in my view. anyway im sure he will make it awesome!

I like it, but not the font...

TNR is just too default.

now you point that out

i think i agree, but i dont think i would have noticed if someone hadn't said. quietus looks like it could be quite good if it gets off the ground. Dis can be a bit cliquey for me as far as it's reviews and features go

and some people

couldn't understand why we'd wanna launch this as a separate site...

Still not working

Is it just me? The front page loads fine but I get an error message whenever I click on something.

same for me

It just wont open anything and errors come up.

its foooooked

Me

too.

And me.

Everytime I try and open anything my browser seems to try and download the target article rather than just opening it. Trying to open via right clicking just does the same thing. It's broken.

this is really weird and a little worrying

what browser and operating system (mac or pc) are you all using?

yeah i just tried and the same happened

im on xp...

and the dark knight reviewed! good stuff. i like this site alot already. even if it doesnt work

works fine for me

like most other people (I presume), Windows 98 and SeaMonkey.

Win XP with IE

It's not the latest version of IE, to be fair, but Quietus is the only website it's happening with.

vista and

internet explorer, try to click on a link and "internet explorer cannot download name-of-webpage"

Disnae work for me either

Sorry Sean. On a PC.

works fine for me

Although I have Win XP, and IE installed on my PC, I prefer Safari and so I made Safari my default internet browser a month ago - I use Safari for all RSS feeds

- by the way the layout of the Quietus is lovely, but despite my age I prefer the DiS style (not always though) - I value the comments from users almost as much as the content

on the other hand its doesn't work in IE 7

but still wks in Safari in Win XP

Windows XP

and IE 7

Still not workin :(

This must be super annoying for ya good luck on sorting it out.

Same set-up here

and it still won't work at the moment.

Same problem as above

links didn't work on Portishead/Fall reviews. PC w/ IE.

If you can turn theQuitus into the new Stylus I should be happy. I wasn't gonna ...but now I might... bookmark it and try back later. I imagine you'll workout the links prob quickly enough.

still not working!

i want to read it! its sunday!

not managed to get hold of our techies

obviously we're trying to remedy this asap!

oooo oooo :)

I can no click on stuff and it all works fine good work :)

OK...

this SHOULD be fixed now, can anyone let me know if they still have problems. Thank you.

Cool for me sean

plus, I am really enjoying that site now...

hurrah

yep all cool

now reading the dark knight review, iv only read the first para but all the swearing is a bit unnecessary isnt it?
