the so-called 'golden mile' is nothing more than a minefield of dog shit, used condoms and empty cans of Special Brew. Horrendous.

I've never been to Milton Keynes but every time I've passed through it on the train it's looked like the dullest place on earth.

It's a nightclub in quite a narrow street full of children and a floor of glass. Would that fit either of those?

If you're really drunk and try and forget exactly what you're doing with your life, and concentrate on the Ice Hockey on the small screens.

I can't decide if Metropolis (Mare Street, not supermanland) is one of the best or worst places ever.

Aside from that, I'd have to say Doncaster was quite a rubbish place to spend a night. I was also told that it had the highest rate of infection of STDs in the country. That combined with the number of teenage girls pushing round prams meant I decided against checking out the nightlife.

But the rest of it? I hope it burns to the ground, apart from my Dad.

My girlfriend went to the Ladies' there once and there was some graffiti on the wall saying something along the lines of

'My baby died in childbirth, I hope yours does too.'

but St Austell is hideous. They've knocked half of it down, and taking quite a long time building the shopping centre to replace it. Not sure what's worse really, old St Austell, or a big shiny shopping centre...

in the grand scheme of things. I mean there are far worse places that exist, like Luton, Swindon or Slough. Besides Derby's got an ok(ish) live music scene, quite a few decent clubs and it's a friendly enough place. Oh and it's my home.

but i've seen worse.
