Back then the options were simple:
1)Swear at pedestrians outside The Oracle
2)Watch China Drum, Joyrider or Tribute to Nothing rock the Alleycat
3)Get stabbed in the queue for Checkpoint Charlie

other than that it's pretty much the same old choice of staying clear of the friar street area, looking at the funny dressed at the purple turtle. there are a few other alright pubs, depends if you can be bothered to leave the oakford.
as for music, i don't think thre's much on tonight :(

there's a bar called the Social that's not appalling
it's run by the same people as do the Socials in nottingham and london
