one of the most underrated albums in recent times?
apparently deerhunter themselves don't like it, but i love how messy it is in places. some of the songs are genuinely quite intense with fantastic bits of repitition and layering of weird sounds. the guitars are scratchy and bradford's vocals are harrowing.
it really is a glorious album.
is anyone else a fan?
I can't say I really like it that much.
Really not as fully realised as their later stuff.

yeah it's a good album, it's very 'Liars' though, you have to admit that. great band. Have you heard Microcastle yet? Very impressive and very clean sounding in places. Quite lovely!

is a ace album and so good live too. I think every one including their mums has that leak by now poor deerhunter.
I only got it recently
and I really like it. Propper messy raw deerhunter tunes. I cant falt anything they have done to be honest.
I've listened to it once, and to be honest
I didn't really like it.
My dad came in while I was listening to one track, which was just really harsh, unlistenable noise and said, "I don't think much of this one", and I had to agree.
I love it. Took me a couple of plays
but it's worth it.
I'll be buying it, i've bought all their other stuff. I often get leaks, but if you don't buy the albums when released, the bands get dropped and can't make another.
