I like how the voice sounds speeded up.

I'm not convinced the songs are that awesome.

Jury is out.

i swear it is

Johnny sounds loads higher/whinier than in BB. Especially on the EP.

The new

Okkervil River leaked as well today. 'Tis a fine day for leakage today indeed.

Be honest for a second

Is this something I should check out?

I didn't bother reading DiS's thing of JL cos the name sounded like a NME boy band...I dunno if I come across it by accident I'll check it; otherwise, I'll need some convincing here.

i

dont really like them no, and I loved BB

I don't like it

I watched them the other day and I was very dissapointed....such a shame

I really really don't want to hear this

I just know it's going to be really disappointing.

can someone link me up?

I want to form an opinion on this band

Thanks

Oh and a link to the new okkervil would be great too :)

erm

f

I listened to it

Meh. 5/10

...

Spicer posted a few weeks back asking if anyone wanted it as he'd got hold of a promo copy ages ago and put it up...starts off well folds a bit in the middle and ends well too but i'd give it a 6/10

I really liked the two new songs on the EP

they released. I think I'll wait until it's out in the shops because I'm a good boy.

They were great when I saw them last week, I actually found them to be just as entertaining as The Blood Brothers.

Thought it was 'meh' at first

started at about 5/10 - but has gone up a point every time I've spun it. Hope it keeps growing.

Up to 11?

I got the promo

about a month ago. Never heard them before, or Blood Brothers for that matter, but it's a brilliant album - you've just got to give it a few listens. Jaguar Pirates is the best song I've heard all year.

Also, they were excellent at T In The Park, playing to about 30 people in a massive tent on Saturday morning.

I was one of those 30 people!

Johnny Whitney was brilliant as always! Pretty funny when he fell backwards over the monitor, hahaha
