How many narratives are you in the middle of?

How pretentious does that sound? But really, I was just thinking about it and I don't know how my mind can cope. Right now I am in the middle of all of these stories:

Sylvia Plath - The Bell Jar (book)
Joseph Heller - Catch 22 (book)
Lego Indy Jones (game)
GTAIV (game)
Gavin & Stacy Series 1 (tv)
24 series 6 (tv)
The Wire series 1 (tv)

A slight amount of ADD means I've usually flit between things a bit. Surely that's too much to keep on top of? Minds are like totally amazing innit!

I like this

Currently:

Metroid Prime: Corruption
Buffy The Vampire Slayer (I'm watching the Season 3 finale tonight!)
East of Eden by John Steinbeck
Achewood

Werewolves In Their Youth by Michael Chabon

Naked Lunch (book) by William Burroughs
Heart of Darkness (book) by Joseph Conrad
Hellboy (comic book series) by Mike Mignola
GTAIV (game)
Half Life 2 (game)

That's about it. I don't really watch TV serieses.

currently:

4 books.

i think they're the only ones i plan to go back to. i have adhd as well, and one of the books i've been trying to read since autumn, but i just get sidetracked, start another one, finish that one, and move on to another book.

my god, too many

the amazing adventures of kavalier and clay by michael chabon
arrested development (about to watch series 2)
flight of the choncordes
legend of zelda: the phantom hourglass
lego star wars
super paper mario
phoenix wright: justice for all

You played Apollo Justice?

It is well wicked.

EastEnders

I do get confused between them sometimes.

I can’t deal with little chunks and so have to blitz through things in about a week, getting to bed at 3am each night. Sometimes though, I stall. At the mo:

My Name is Red (by Orhan Pamuk)
Suburban Glamour (by Jamie McKelvie)
Twilight Princess (got to the final dungeon, but then got distracted by…)
Phantom Hourglass (got the final map piece, but got fed up of going back to the same temple again and again)
Half Life 2 (just started this last week)
Gossip Girl (OMG Serena killed someone!)
The Wire (got halfway through season one and got distracted by…)
Battlestar Galactica (up to the end of season two, just starting three)
The last couple of episodes of the Sopranos (still to watch)

moth.er.fucker.spoiler.

god it's been a bad week.

Shit, sorry.

I thought that I was the only person in the world still watching Gossip Girl.

^ LOL @ sarky

You can't seem to catch a break these days.

The last couple of episodes of the Sopranos

The last two episodes are truly wonderful! :D
I might watch them again tonight.

Hmmm

The Watchmen (Alan Moore, that other dude)
Zack and Wiki (wii)
Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (Douglas Adams)
House of Leaves (Mark Z Danielowski)
Soprano's (series three)
Deadwood (also series three)
Gravities Rainbow (Thomas Pynchon (though I doubt I'm ever going back to that...))

Stupid short attention span.

Yes indeed

I was worried that th watchmen was gonna be as mind blowingly awesome as everyone says it is but holy fuck it's good. I'm in awe of it.

I've barely started Dirk Gently but the friend I've borrowed it off is needling me into finishing it as soon as possible.

Dirk Gently is great.

But Watchmen blows my mind. Everytime I read it I notice something else.

Interesting idea for a thread.

The Prize (History of Oil and Gas)
Watchmen (again)
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
GTA IV
Twin Peaks
My own novel
Tomb Raider III
My own life.
