i really, really, really like it.
it all flows along so effortlessly - the sequencing and bridging between the songs rarely sound anything other than superb. everything is tinged with a bit of sadness in that wonderful way that Death Cab do it and - and - AND the songs aren't smothered by the production this time around.
saying all that, i'm not sure why gibbard decided to record the vocals for Bixby Canyon Bridge when he had a cold. too much LCD Soundsystem beforehand?
