Wondering weather to play a gig or not...

Basically Ive got 2 gigs orgainized at the end of the month, one of which i am attempting - and will probably fail miserably - at promoting, both in Bournemouth. I had another one organised for next month, which was a showcase gig for a label, again in Bournemouth, which has now been cancelled and re-schedualed for the day before one of my gigs and 4 days after the one I'm promoting. I was just wondering if its worth doing just for experience points, or is it a bad thing to play 3 gigs in the space of less than a week together at venues which are up the road from each other and I should just pull out of one of them.

Depends

on how many people you can be confident of pulling. Though I would guess even your mates wouldn't all be up for 3 dates in 5 days.

I might be incined to pull the least important (the second one), unless it's a promoter you don't mind not playing for again or they're the types that don't mind too much if you only bring along a handful of people.

pull out pull out

pull out pull out pull out pull out

of the least important one, probably you're promoted one.

if i do pull out of any of them

it'll probably be the label showcase. i had a listen to some of the stuff they released and it wasn't that good. plus I'm relocating to London soon and im putting my solo stuff on hold for a few months after that.
