Keenan

Original and best.

Plus, the West Country accent is perfect for the role.

Just....

but only cos he's American and has access to guns.

is dwight shrite the american gareth?

i havent seen the american office but i really cant imagine anyone pulling off gareth better than gareth

*shrute

oops

He's a slightly different character

past the first series, which sticks a lot to the episodes of the UK Version, it gets so much better after this!
He's into the survival stuff, but has a lot more geekiness- Battlestar Galactica, Bobbleheads, etc.

Keenan's the British one?

I've only ever watched the American version so I'm going to go with Dwight.

QUESTION

Dwight- I think because there's more Episodes of the American Office, you get to see a bit more of his personality, particularly when he's working at Staples.
The way he apes Michael at times is hilarious.

yeah Dwight

but they have had a lot longer to flesh out his character. he's brilliant though - especially the office romance and his rivalry with Andy :D

"Re-Shun"

The Andy rivalry is hilarious!

i've only seen a couple of the American ones

but i can't imagine anyone being able to be better than Gareth.

he's more american and wacky

gareth is incredible

I used to think that too

And to be fair, they have about 6 times as many episodes to flesh out his character - Gareth is only in, what....12 episodes or something? - but Dwight just shades it for me. He paints his entire office black to intimidate whoever comes in - what's not to like?

Dwight

narrowly

from doing a google image search

they do look like they're fairly different. but i think i will have a look on youtube this evening.

Keenan,

but most people on here will say Dwight because they're idiots.

QUESTION!

WHICH OF THEM KNOWS MORE FACTS ABOUT BEAR ATTACKS?

you wouldn't slit your throat like that

you'd go behind the wind pipe

...

'We make a great team. We’re like one of those classic famous teams. He’s like Mozart and I’m like...Mozart's friend. No. I’m like Butch Cassidy and Michael is like...Mozart. You try and hurt Mozart? You’re gonna get a bullet in your head courtesy of Butch Cassidy'.

Gareth for me

Dwight is good but less subtle, more try hard and a bit too over the top

There isn't much comparison

Apart from snivelling subservience, they are very different characters. Dwight is alot more outlandish.

Dwight

But there's far more episodes to showcase his character, so it's not really fair
