Absolutely YES to the last one.

I heard someone compare Johnny Foreigner to them in a review recently. They sound nothing alike but i love them now.

I saw them the same year

I'm sure I saw them at Reading once too, I didn't really know any of their stuff though other than the singles which were getting major love from the Evening Session at the time.

do you mean All Hail Urusei Yatsura?? It's alright, but nowhere near as much fun as the albums. Some of the b-sides to hello tiger and slain by elf are awesome. there's an album called pulpo of yatsura b-sides and stuff from "we are" era that i've been meaning to get for ages.

I'm a bit disappointed

with the new Electric President. I keep trying to listen to it, to like it more, but it's all a bit too similar, which is a shame compared to their first album.
