Was their new guitarist from Neurosis? I thought he looked familiar, but I don't want to be making false claims in my review.
Anywhoo, good show, if a little on the short side.

new stuff any good>?
They were great when i saw them on the tour in 2006, so hoping for a similar quality
Difficult to say
as the sound wasn't great and with three guitars playing simultaneously, it's hard to really lock on to anything when you're hearing it for the first time. Pretty heavy though, which is nice. I have no doubt once I hear the recorded versions I'll love them. Still not sure about Dave Clifford's drumming though...he seems to epitomise the term 'plodding'.
I didn't know they had a new guitarist
Josh Graham was with Neurosis - has he left then? I was there but wouldn't know what he looks like if he kicked me up the arse.
have they not always had a guitarist from Neurosis?
Onew of their guitarists was Josh Graham
who does visuals for Neurosis. But he left, and is now playing in a Neurosis-esque doom band (can't remember the name off the top of my head). So yeah, last night they had this really big dude playing guitar for them in Graham's place and I thought he looked like a guy from Neurosis.
they were really good
but i was expecting them to be a bit more brutal. no idea about the guitarists though.
the doorway...
Josh Graham...he is in Neurosis, but he's not in the band technically. He actually creates the visuals and sits around the soundesk.
You might of seen him play with battle of mice or something?
are red sparrows any good these days? i hated their albums, live was ok...
Anyone catch Guapo at this?
I got there late so missed them. Just wondered what their line up is like now, since it seems to change all the time.
I thought they were good.
It felt like a short set but they actually played for an hour.
The first new song I loved. The other 2 not as sure on yet. Was disappointed they finished on a new song (the weakest of the 3 I thought) - just seemed like it all ended suddenly.
And no idea about this guitarist dude. He looked like he should be in Neurosis but I couldn't tell you if he is/was etc. Josh Graham's latest band is called A Storm Of Light. I'm about to buy the album as I'm liking what is on their myspace.
