why?

admittedly it must take a certain degree of skill, but this doesn't change the fact that you're putting sharp things near your eyes on a bumpy journey...

i was convinced one woman this morning was going to skewer herself.

people dress up tubes now in London

like eye liner on a toilet roll tube to make it all sexy or just for another friend...

why?

so they can sleep in longer presumably. It doesn't bother me in the slightest.

This is really shit observational comedy.

However, it would be grate if someone died putting make up on and skewered their eye.

with the right kind of muscle relaxation

the arm and the head move around on a bumpy journey but stay in the same position relative to each other

it's quite simple really

I nearly knocked myself out once

when I tried to change outfits in the toilet of a moving train.
I had my t-shirt halfway over my head as a jolt made me ricochet around the tight space, culminating in my banging my head with some force on the sink counter.

My boss was going on about this

last week. His argument was that they shouldn't do it because men don't shave on the tube. Hmmm.

I don't follow his logic

I mean obviously it's flawed but what stops him from using the same logic to conclude "Women are doing their make up on the tube! I'm going to shave on the circle line tomorrow!"

The Great British workman eh? No gumption

i don't have a problem with it

just sort of amazed/confused how it is managed.

I heard something

probably in one of the free paper letters pages, about a guy who got a telling off for daring to shave on the tube

so it (maybe) happens

yeah!

some woman on the 55 was putting her make-uip on today. i stared at her. she had that kind of face which looked as though she'd had a lot of botox.

wow!

i saw this for the first time yesterday. our 'tube' is quite sad admittedly but still.. i thought it was odd. she did the full thing. i watched her for like 10 minutes. she left looking less dishevelled than me though so she won.

I nearly always apply

my make up on the tube. The amount of skill required should be applauded!

I used to put it on on the bus into birmingham

before going out, well I say me, but i would always manage to find some women to help me

i was on the train

from London to Newcastle once and the woman opposite me was putting her make-up on for literally about 2 hours. She looked much worse at the end than she did at the start. The whole thing was actually really sad.
