Is anyone else into this band/record? Ipecac have released their last album, and they also played on Patton's Peeping Tom record too, which I haven't actually heard.
Its largely instrumental music, heavy as hell in places, angular in a Helmet/Shellac sort of way, but lots of interesting stuff going on so that its not just a carbon copy. I've only listened to this record a few times, but its good stuff. Any thoughts?

its my album of the year. I have been looking forward to this for ages.
I got to see them a while ago as a tour support, but missed them playing for Mike Patton.
They'll be back over this year at somepoint.
Also, the drummer (who is a super nice chap) including the other members, work as session musicians. Worked with 50 Cent, Fugees etc...
and yeah, its like Helmet, Mastodon, Shellac, Mogwai, Keelhaul, Meshuggah, Don Cab...

I was thinking that perhaps
they'll be added to the ATP Nightmare Before Christmas, what do you reckon? Seems like the kind of event they'd be likely to be asked to do due to who's involved with curating this one, plus I reckon they'd go down really well.
