Bakesale is better
Yes, Bakesale is better
or at least a lot more consistent. III is still a fantastic album, I even like quite a few of the Gafney tracks including that one guntrip thought was a joke track.
I keep meaning to get this.....

"better than bakesale" is a misnomer
because both albums are great in completely different ways.
I think III is personally my favourite of the two albums, just because clearly less effort has gone into it, and that is ultimately more impressive. Bakesale's tunes are great, but there is nothing as jaw droppingly amazing as Spoiled or Total Peace on Bakesale.
Yeah, Total Peace = best Sebadoh song?
Still Bakesale for me though, Lou on top form, no pointless Eric noiseouts and Jason coming into his own as a songwriter.
