quite a few seem to possess the ability to join in or ingratiate themselves in a short space of time with a group of people they've never known. If I turned up at a party, for example, people would say "who is that awkward, shuffling little man over there? Let's be rid of him" yet others could be in the running for "life and soul". I wish to possess this ability and have been cultivating it like a drug plant in my bathroom.
