Its a staggering achievement really - don't see how anything less than 9/10 could be justified

and also, i imagine the album tracks will be
really experimental, rather than filler
I've heard it
got an advanced copy through work and it's pretty good. Need to give it a couple of more listens to fully appreciate it fully.

Boom tsh boom tsh boom tsh boom tsh repetitive motion for the majority.
It's frustrating, because they are obviously capable of producing intricate, albeit coordinated havoc, however they seem creatively restrained and seemingly defeated - relinquishing to a sound relatable to an angered Cut Copy if they bumped into Midnight Juggernauts and found a haggered distortion pedal in a rusty bin.
Singles are worthwhile and musically proficient, but a disappointing package overall. I wasn't enthralled by their material beforehand, though.

I've been
lucky to have the finished record for a while now and it is really one of the most fully realised, daring and emphatic debut albums i've heard in a while. Glad to hear some other people are as excited about it all as me!

but its really good. the alkan synths get mucho hype.

Thought I'd be disappointed and if it was anyone but Erol producing then I think I would have been
Also thought that 'Mad Dogs and Englishmen' would be the weak point of the album but it's actually one of the best tracks
there is only
3 tracks i havnt downloaded down the years so its already a 9/10 for me! Gotta be contender for album of the year for sure, what an excellent band they are
its really mad and progged out in places
like at the end of 'heartbeat' its like a 13/16 time sig.
