$90 is a lot of money for only a few good 7"s. Think i'll pass.

      by it. i have a feeling it'll go fast considering only 1500 subscriptions, you can buy up to 5 subscriptions per person and there will be a fair few wankers getting 5 just to sell them all on ebay!

  • Be Warned!

    I joined the Sub Pop singles club a few years back, presumably v1 or 2 but they were notoriously rubbish at honouring the subscription and it took numerous emails over the course of a year or so to get sorted.

    I rarely managed to contact the same person twice, so had to go through the whole story every time to various interns (they generally only last maybe a month or so) until one of them actually did something about it.

    Sadly I didn't get the whole planned subscription series as most of it had sold out by the time I managed to tell them I hadn't received the items i should have done, but instead everntually got to pick the remainder of what was due to me from their back catalogue of 7"s.

    Maybe they have better organisation now, but the whole thing was pretty rubbish at the time and I was amazed a company like Sub Pop could be so crap!

      i think they're much more organised nowadays. their mailorder department is so good it sucks you dry. of your money. see what i did there?
