Going for a vegetarian Indian meal tonight

and then going to see Why?

Tomorrow probably get drunk, maybe turn up at my friend's house to play House of the Dead on the Wii and play him some CDs of what I want our band to sound like.

Saturday, going to see my good friends the Bonsai Kittens play their last ever gig.

Sunday, recover and have a nice relaxing day :)

'08 PS2 version.

I wish I had a PS3 but alas finances don't allow at the moment. This play will be intertwined with some hardcore NHL action as well.

Isn't the 08 ps2 version basically the same as Pes 6?

I'm hoping pes09 is going to be decent, I thought the last one was very disappointing and felt rushed. (This was on the 360 though.)

It is similar, but a tad better in some repects,

more loose balls etcetera. Plus, I've created an unrealistically great Altricham team on it.

Ah, the joy of custom teams!

I think the best team I made was one of rubbish 90s players. The home kit was the same as the orange/grey chelsea away kit from about 94!

I've just read that my friend who has a brain tumour fell into a coma two weeks ago via his blog and had to have an op called a shunt ("This is an operation where they drain out all of the excess fluid from your brain to your stomach").

He contacted a group of us on Facebook at 3.45am (pissed much?) to ask us all to meet for lunch on Sunday because he's got something to tell us.

I'm going to be dreading this for the next three days.

I'm not good with illness and I'm always the one who puts my foot in my fucking mouth and says the wrong thing at the wrong time.

SHIT.

Otherwise, tonight Theo's gig, tomorrow dinner with a (lovely) ex, Saturday bumming around maybe in the park if it's sunny, have Hero and 28 days later to watch. And then that on Sunday.

I don't know what I'm doing this weekend

I doubt I'll be doing much. Can't really be arsed slogging back up north but there aren't many other options atm. Tonight I may treat myself to that curry I've clearly earned.

I'm currently putting together the schedule for BBC1 Wales which goes out in two weeks. It's a real ripsnorter.

I had a really fucking scary dream

last night that involved being at work (but not my actual work), next to the worlds biggest oil refinery, then massive explosions and stuff. Woke up absolutely bricking it.

Crap night's sleep then, so I'm knackered. Nothing planned for the weekend - probably play lots of Smash Bros Brawl if nothing else.

Tonight I am not doing much. I'll cook dinner (prob fajitas as the wife has been to tesco now), have a bath and continue ripping CDs and yarns.

I heard about that thing at the ruby lounge. A friend of mine who was a suicide girl was involved I think. The ruby lounge is quite nice (it isn't usually a lapdancing bar). I'll probably end up in Satans keeping my mate sane.
