it's not!

it's fun, i like making cakes. it's really relaxing, don't you think? like gardening, but with a cake at the end.

It's great fun, actually.

As is gardening. My garden is going to get some much needed attention when I get back from Scotland.

Nothing but

cake baking here.

I'm surrounded by tins, flour , eggs and icing sugar. Can't move for the stuff. Always knocking a sponge or two over me.

yes, loads

and i can still remember the recipe off the top of my head....

I used to make a mean

Carrot Cake

Did you call the carrots

"Ginga"? is that why the cake ended up mean?

i had a cake party,

it was awesome!!

but really.

if i ever were to try baking a cake, it will end two ways. either i'll luck out and have it turn out okay, or have it completely go to shit. i imagine that the latter will turn out.

hahahahahah

i LOVE that.

Me and Fi are going to make one next week and have a picnic at Queens Park!

been to the Booth Museum? i used to think that was the shit as a kid. Its depressing now.

Yes

I almost died on the way home in a car accident AMAZING!

I used to be so good

at chocolate fudge cake. Actually, I was pretty masterful at cakes, if I do say so myself. Unfortunately I am now on a gluten free diet, thus no more cake for me. Boo.

You can make gluten-free cakes

I can't eat gluten or dairy products and I still make cakes.

i have to say, i make some pretty amazing cakes

although actually, i haven't baked in ages. i might do some baking tonight.

Of course.

Who on Earth hasn't?

I don't know.

Ergo, this question.

meeee

nicest feeling ever when people like it and get excited. Even though I don't really sweet stuff, just the preparation of it.

Yes, about two weeks ago.

what, a cake?

or a recipe?

Yeah!

Normal sponge cake, coffee cake, birthday cake, courgette cake, I made a butternut squash and cinnamon (sp?) cake with my nan yesterday, yum! And my friend and I always make cake/brownies, and eat the whole thing...

baking with friends =

fun times :)

Baking time with nana =

super happy fun times. She lets you lick the bowl and everything. Oona and I have to share.

:)

Hells yeah!

Well, not entirely true, sponge cakes are beyond my meager cookery skills, but I can make a mean tiramisu.

No

I fail at life

I made a cake shaped like the World Cup

Food tech - 2002. It was pretty impressive even if I do say so myself.

yes

loads

Yeah

When I first met my gf, we found out we both liked cakes. So, wanting to win her heart.. I thought "hmm.. what do we have in common? Cakes....?" and invited her over to bake a cake. We went shopping for ingredients, but she managed to break an egg in my car somehow. We made a cake and decorated it with effigies of PJ and Duncan. 3 months later and we're still together!

when i was a kid i used to bake cakes all the time with my nanna

she also taught me how to knit.she also taught me how to tell time.shes amazing
