i got 'ABCDEFGHIJKickball' kind of by accident (i thought the name of the album was cool and decided to buy it recklessly) and was wondering if there are any fans of this band around? i've only heard this album and think it's fantastic, what are the other albums like?
are they still around/touring or have they disbanded? anything similar that i haven't heard you could recommend?

so I thought id give them a download, ive pretty much not listened to anything else since. I like how they play slightly complex music but it still sounds loose and joyfull.

i was going to mention that it sounds like the band is having so much fun, something that makes them sound a bit different from similar bands.
huckleberry eater is AMAZING.
i fucking love kickball. pagan wanderer lu played with them the day after last year's atp and i was gutted not to go.
absolutely amazing. 'bird' off aforementioned record is in my top five favourite songs, ever.
