maybe

it's definitely not that that tubby pound shop version of peter kay on 8/10 cats though.

Frankie Boyle

I would love to see this guy on QI.

he's incredibly funny.

but it's all just saying something that he shouldn't say. shock value comedy really.

this

but he is really funny. has he done stand-up?

Yeah

Really funny, but it's mostly "shock value" comedy- very good at ad libbing though.

on that line-up

the Mighty Boosh festival looks pretty damn good.

Yeah

it really does

I'm going to the boosh fest

for all the ace comedy I cant wait. I really wana see Frankie Boyle, Robin Ince, Jossie Long, Aj Barker, Ross Nobel and Garth Merenghi but I have seen those last two before Ross lots he is amazing.

Pretty much

he's very, very funny.
Hoping to see him when he plays P'boro this year.

^seconded

I love him.

Gone right off David Mitchell though, series 5 of Peep Show has killed the love for me.

ive gone off paul merton lately

he just goes for the cheap laughs by saying something random. Same with bill bailey.

who are you seconding?

Frankie Boyle?

yep

i'd agree with Sean Locke.

I think Russell Howard is pretty funny though. As he gets a bit older, he'll get funnier.
I'm incredibly glad that Dave Spikey is off 8 out of 10 cats though. He would always say something that wasn't funny, then make a rubbish link to some story that couldn't be more obviously pre-written and from a stand-up he has done.

Saw Russell Howard in Cambs the other week

as part of a comedy festival, seemed to be preparing stuff for Edinburgh. Alot funnier than I was expecting.

frankie boyle

no question

Rich Hall

even though its not full time, when hes on QI or similar he kills!

also unfunniest

is definitely Phil Jupitus. He also does the worst fucking laugh ever at other peoples not very funny jokes.

Rob Brydon.

all the way.

good choice

his stand up is also very funny

and

Marion and Geoff is perfect.
"If those sleeping policemen only save one childs life.....then they're probably not very cost effective".

Lovely stuff.

:D

me

(i was on QI once)

failing that, David Mitchell or, hmm, Boris Johnson? those were the days...

David Mitchell

Yes.

I'd say Sean Locke too.

Definitely not that annoying little moleface Boyle.

Gina Yahsere, easily.

Apparently Eavis is already in negotiations to get her to headline the Pyramid Stage next year.

^

sweet lord! are you insane?!

also...

that fat-michael owen lookalike on eat out of tin cans is actually pretty funny. Mainly because he looks like a fat Michael Owen.

eat out of tin cans :D

Vic Reeves.
How tall is a bison?

I vote David Mitchell

or as I like to call him Dmitchy!

Dara O'Briaineeen

or whatever his name is.

Definitely not Russell Howard though. Or Russell Brand after that abomination that was his effort on HIGNFY.

Frankie Boyle and Dave Spikey

are both on my list of bad people who shoehorn bits of their stand-up act into almost completely irrelevant conversations.

david mitchell all the way

and although he isn't incredibly funny i'm a little bit in love with adam hills

i think it's his leg

and the fact that he's the only australian in existence that actually pulls off the accent

David Mitchell I think

the worst is that little bald west country guy

Sean Locke is a good call

Also Alan Davies.
Do presenters count? Simon Amstell rocks my comedy world.

"I'm only here 'cos you told me that you fancied me!"

"No,you're here because we have dificulty booking people"

^ amstell is genius.

i loved the episode where he absolutely ripped the shit out of donny tourette, without him even realising

Ha ha

brilliant. He'd be at my fantasy dinner party.

1. Sean Locke

2. Paul Merton
3. Frankie Boyle
4. Jimmy Carr
5. Ross Noble

Merton on Just A Minute

but not HIGNFY anymore

RICH HALL!

He made a great joke about running from a polar bear on QI once, I can't remember the exact quote, but it was fucking hilarious.

does Simon Amstell count?

as he's a host?

least funny is Vic reeves
