It is a lame competition, but there is a clear winner in the Situationists. Except they probably wont win because theyre actually good, just like Johnny Foreigner.
The sound was pretty shit actually, so maybe that didnt help? Loads of catchy songs that reveal hidden depths. It's not often you see a band directly influenced by American Football, Cap N Jazz et al get this far in such a commercially-orientated environment.

two fairly mediocre bands, one of which i bizarrely managed to catch on Newsround a few years ago.
