to my television viewing eyes

"An American Editors"

Lauren Laverne, I want to sick in your cunt.

I laughed

I sucked my teeth and made that noise of unsureness, I laughed again, I chuckled nervously. I'm still unsure.

AIDAN!

Remember the windmill times?

that was yesterday..

so of course i do. Was cool meeting all you lot.

i'm currently sitting in my sister's flat in Bermondsey looking after her cat watching Glastonbury highlights before heading back to Nottingham tomorrow.

I've owned boxer for a few months now

but never actually listened to it, because i thought that i hadn't finished with Alligator.
I suppose i'll have to start listening before i get a chance to see them. Only knowing 1/5 is not good for a band i find amazing.

The National at O2 Wireless Festival

this Friday, hmmm should I get a ticket? Is £45 too much, I desperately want to go and see them but not heard great things about Wireless, make my mind up someone!

National play surprise session this friday!

A friend just told me that The National are gonna be doing a surprise session on the O2 stage at Wireless this Friday (4th July) at 3pm!!! The stage is pretty intimate so it will be a good chance to see this wicked band before it gets hectic in the evening. Spread the word!

woo, they're playing green man

and i'm going.

woop

seeing them for the 5th time on Thursday at Werchter

me too!

except its for the first time.

hehe yeah

and at least they've got a whole hour and its at a good time of day (better crack out the red wine)

although i was completely emotionally drained after the last time i saw them. But my friends from home who are into music now all love them so it should be good.

i've not been this obsessed about a band ever

And they are in the tent there

which is a great festival venue. Looking forward to seeing them, not seen them before.

One of my favourite bands.

I love them.

Leds Met tomorrow!

pretty excited actually and think it may be a wise move given the hideous amound of clashes at T in the Park this year

has it sold out?

and if not, how much are tickets?

i finally have money, and will be all over it if they've not sold out.

dunno if it's sold out

I'm guessing it isnt

its 14 quid plus charges anyway xo

I agree

American Editors?

How on earth could anyone think this let alone declare it to the nation?! Can't wait to see them tomorrow in leeds, i have high hopes.

talk about

saving the best til last.... they were utterly brilliant on the John Peel stage last night....

Someone please,

please tell me where I can find them on iplayer at Glastonbury...if they are on it at all.

Did anyone record this/know where to see it?

It's bands like this that make being a fan of music so fucking brilliant!

no,

it isn't.

it is

and it is ace

hehe

i keep seeing myself in the lion hat. good times.

^5

that person.

As do I

My last.fm page will bear this out.

^ this

I should've bought Alligator 3 years ago when Amazon recommended it to me. It's pretty much integral to my life now...

I don't like them

Byeeeee x

bye indeed,

and good riddance :P

Thanks everyone

Because of how much people had talked about them on here before, I went and watched them as my closing Glastonbury band.

Albums have now duly been ordered.

They're such a surprisingly good live band

They're not charismatic as such, but they make up for it with intensity. Their Dublin show in May was AMAZING.

I'm still planning to write a novel

just so I can call the female protagonist Faye Kempire.

I've posted this before, and will keep posting it until someone lols.

the national

rule

who

supported them tonight?

they were shit

Caroline Martin

was supporting and I wasn't impressed either. However, The National were awesome. Easily the best gig i've been to this year.

lol

:-) I still fucking love them. Have I mentioned that before?

Yay!

*searches around for biro with which to compose magnum opus*

^^

lol
