Christ. This song is good. Its one of the better examples of how the twin-attack of drums and vocals has beefed-up the new Melvins/Big Business partnership. The rest of the album (Nude With Boots) isnt bad by any means, but its not quite as good as A Senile Animal (imho obvs.).

The singing
on this song (and many of the other songs) is glorious. That "THERE IS NO ENDINGGGG, THERE IS NO WONDER WHYYYYYYY" Derba derba derba derba bit. So good. See also the song 'Nude with Boots' when the singing comes in and the end of 'Billy Fish'. Fists to the air and all that.
Another highlight for me is towards the end of 'Dog Island' when they get the riff and the drums rolling with that stupidly low bass note. Damn they are good.
If I had to find a fault
it would be the crap song titles. In case you hadn't noticed already. A return to the days of 'In The Freaktose the bugs are dying' and 'They All Must Be Slaughtered' would be nice in that department.

I dont know, I think theyre still pretty off-beat and perhaps a bit more disconcerting! I need a new vocabulary or something. "It tastes better than the truth" is a pretty cool title I think.

I was listening to this on my headphones and thought it was amazing, hence the post. But Im now at home and can say that this is about x3012 better than I thought it was.
