i nearly missed a train at szczecin to swinoujscie [sp?] because i was standing on the wrong platform. fortunately some dutch ladies pointed out the error of my ways and i did a dramatic "noooOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!1111" run to the other platform, with two large bags and a guitar.
swinoujscie is nice though. good beach and decent duty free stuff.
I know that the EC is considering
making the shipyard in Szczecin hand back state aid, possibly resulting in its closure...
