As far as I'm aware Weirdo Rippers is a collection of songs from EPs, I would imagine having an album of tracks designed to go together would be better but apparently it works really well.
Which one would be the best to get first and why?

Get them both
oddly Weiro Rippers does not suffer from a lack of cohesion. Nouns is slightly more refined and I do mean very slightly.
Listen to Wives instead.

Yup
^
nope.
Nouns
is much more consistent than Weirdo Rippers
^this
Naturally Nouns flows a lot better, and feels more complete.
I love NOUNS
and I was wondering about getting into Wives - how are Wives different to No Age?
punkier and less messy
...
They're still pretty messy..
I'd say they have more velocity than No Age, and more intense.
Well I know something interesting about Wives
the singers car got hit by a fellow from the Backstreet Boys, who payed damages, which allowed them to set up their own record label Post-Present Medium.
I haven't actually heard their album though.
I just don't get No Age...
Though I want to know and know I probably will do...
Can someone explain?
PLAY
LOUD
Explanation enough I think.
..
nouns is good but weirdo rippers is GREAT!
Nouns is kicking proverbial arse so far.
My decision is nearly made.
Nouns is amazing
Took me 5 listens or so of all the songs to truley get but now i do i live it. Might explain why my 3 or 4 attempts at Wierdo Rippers hasn't been quite as good.
Maybe start from the begining
but make sure you get both anyway. You can't really go wrong with either in my opinion.
Nouns
wins
Yes to both
If rippers is like you say they did a lovely job on it cause it has immense flowability. If you're are just looking for a place to start- go with WR! I think the two records are fun to listen to back to back and I imagine they'd be great on shuffle together.
